SWA JOB ORDER PROCESS ABANDONED Live-in Nanny. Single dad looking for childcare provider for 17 months & 3 yrs. old. The ideal candidate for this position will be resp. for a wide range of domestic duties, depending on the family�s needs. I want to hire someone for a permanent position, preferably long-term, who will be living at my home. Sched.: Mon.-Fri. 7 am to 5 pm Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm Must be flexible w/ possible change of sched. (i.e. occasional weekend nights, business travel, etc) Travel w/ the family is req'd. three times a yr.. However, I need someone who can be flexible w/ wk. sched. due my job that req. me to travel occasionally. Driving is req'd.. The candidate must have a clean driving record & exp.. In addition to taking c/o the children, the position entails minor housekeeping & pet care. Must be good w/ pets, we have a Pitbull, two snakes & fish. My 3 yr. old shows signs of autism & ADHD. Although, we still do not have a diagnostic, I feel more comfortable if the person has at least two yrs. of exp. w/ special needs children. I can provide excellent set up for room & board for the right person. Nonsmokers only. Responsibilities: prep. & bring kids for activities Cook meals for the children Dr. kids to activities, appointments, library, etc. Play w/ the children Do educ. activities w/ children Do laundry & other light household chores Caring for pets (feeding the dog, snakes & fish) Take dog out for walks. Family�s grocery shopping & personal shopping Errands (bank, ups, pharmacy etc.) Knowl., Skills, & Abilities: Knowl. of housekeeping activities & healthy cooking Willingness to adhere to health & safety standards Respectful, compassionate, flexible & have strong moral ethics Ability to deal w/ two small kids at the same time Be patient Comfortable w/ animals Proven exp. w/ special needs children (Autism & ADHD). Good time mgmt. skills Outstanding communication & interpersonal skills Ability to be aware of others� reactions, needs, & indiv. differences Hardworking Education & Exp.: Preferably Bachelor�s Deg.. Min. Associate�s Deg. or higher. Must be betw. 25 to 30 yrs. old Must have exp. as an Au Pair or Live-in Nanny for two yrs. Preferably candidates who speak two or three different languages (English, Spanish & Portuguese) Must be able to provide good refs Involved w/ art & sports preferred Trustworthy & resp.
